Hook

Peter Banning is a work-obsessed lawyer and father who no longer remembers that he was once Peter Pan. During a London visit with Granny Wendy, Captain Hook kidnaps Peter’s children and drags him back to Neverland, where pirates, Lost Boys, and old grudges are still waiting. Robin Williams is the grown-up Peter, with Dustin Hoffman turning Hook into a vain, theatrical menace; Bob Hoskins’ Smee and Maggie Smith’s Wendy connect Peter to the world he left behind. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film imagines Peter Pan as a modern family story built around rescue, flying, sword fights, and a return to childhood myth.
