King Kong

ActionAdventureFantasyHorror104 min

Showman and filmmaker Carl Denham heads to an uncharted island in search of footage no audience has ever seen, bringing along struggling actress Ann Darrow and ship’s first mate Jack Driscoll. Robert Armstrong is Denham, all bluster and ambition, while Fay Wray’s Ann becomes the focus of the island’s towering legend: Kong, a giant ape worshipped as something beyond beast or man. What begins as a movie expedition turns into a collision between prehistoric wilderness and New York showmanship, with dinosaurs, jungle danger, and one of cinema’s most enduring monsters looming over every step.
