Capone

CrimeDrama104 min

After nearly a decade in prison, 47-year-old Al Capone is living in Florida as dementia and neurosyphilis begin to erode his grip on the present. Tom Hardy is the aging gangster in his final year, cut off from the empire he once ruled and increasingly trapped between fractured memories and waking life. Linda Cardellini is Mae, Capone’s wife, one of the few steady figures in a house crowded by family, handlers, and the shadow of federal scrutiny. Instead of following his rise in Chicago, the film stays close to his decline, with old violence, hidden money, and fading power pressing in.
