Tom Cruise is Barry Seal, a pilot whose work for the CIA in 1980s Latin America opens the door to a second business moving cocaine for the Medellín cartel. Inspired by a true story, the film follows Barry as covert flights, drug smuggling, and money laundering turn his life into a tangle of government missions, cartel deals, and DEA scrutiny. Domhnall Gleeson and Sarah Wright are part of the widening circle around Barry as the operation grows from secretive side job to something far harder to contain.
