Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior
ActionAdventureCrimeThriller108 min
After thieves steal the head of a sacred Buddha statue from his village, Ting heads to Bangkok to bring it back, trading temple life for the city’s criminal underworld. Tony Jaa is Ting, a quiet Muay Thai fighter whose search turns into a series of bare-knuckle confrontations, alley chases, and underground fights. In Bangkok, he crosses paths with Petchtai Wongkamlao and Pumwaree Yodkamol as the hunt for the stolen relic pulls him deeper into rackets and gang territory. The story moves from rural Thailand to crowded city streets, with Muay Thai at the center of nearly every turn.
