7 Days in Hell

Comedy43 min

Framed as a straight-faced sports documentary, 7 Days in Hell revisits a supposedly legendary 1999 tennis match that dragged on for seven days. Andy Samberg and Kit Harington anchor the rivalry at its center, with the film building a faux history around two larger-than-life stars and the media circus surrounding their showdown. Fred Armisen turns up among the talking heads, alongside tennis names like John McEnroe and Serena Williams, as the movie treats an absurd premise with the language and seriousness of a sports expose.
