Alexander

ActionAdventureDramaRomanceWar175 min

Alexander follows the Macedonian king from a volatile royal childhood in ancient Greece to the campaign that topples the Persian Empire and pushes his army east toward India. Colin Farrell is Alexander, driving the march across the known world while trying to outrun the turmoil of his upbringing. Angelina Jolie’s Olympias hangs over the story as a fierce influence in the palace, where family conflict and questions of succession shape the young ruler before the battles begin. Oliver Stone stages Alexander’s rise through court politics, battlefield assaults, and the widening scale of empire.
