Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

DramaMysteryThriller127 min

George Smiley, a veteran British intelligence officer pulled out of semi-retirement, is sent to uncover a Soviet mole hidden near the top of the Circus, the service’s inner circle. Gary Oldman is Smiley, working quietly through early-1970s London and the half-buried history of failed operations, private loyalties, and compromised men. As he retraces the moves of his old chief Control and follows the shadow of Karla, the KGB rival behind the breach, Colin Firth and Tom Hardy are among the officers and operatives caught inside Smiley’s search for the traitor before he disappears.
