With Cha Tae-hyun and Song Joong-ki among the crew, the film turns a tightly controlled market crisis into a historical caper where the prize isn’t gold or jewels, but blocks of state-protected ice. The setup draws on court-era trade and storage, using an unusual piece of everyday necessity to drive the plot as thieves, officials, and the rules of the palace economy collide.
