Kingdom of Heaven

ActionAdventureDramaWar144 min

After his wife’s death, a blacksmith named Balian is drawn into the power struggles and holy wars surrounding 12th-century Jerusalem. Orlando Bloom is Balian, carried from personal grief into a world of nobility, shifting alliances, and battles fought in the name of faith. Ridley Scott builds the Crusades backdrop with sieges, cavalry, and court intrigue, while Eva Green and Liam Neeson circle Balian’s path as he moves deeper into a kingdom divided by religion and rule. The film keeps one foot in large-scale war and the other in the questions of identity, loyalty, and belief pressing on its central figure.
