Magazine features writer Birdie Bell (Asher Keddie) thinks she’s found an ideal match when a dating app connects her with successful grazier Joe Burt. David Wenham’s Joe is attentive, established, and seemingly straightforward, and Birdie lets the relationship move quickly. As their lives become more entwined, though, small gaps in his story start to stand out, and Birdie begins to suspect that the man she’s fallen for isn’t who he claims to be.
