Sleeping Beauty

DramaFamilyFantasyMysteryRomanceThriller102 min

Lucy, a university student in Australia scraping by on odd jobs, takes a high-paying position with a secretive service that caters to wealthy clients and rigid rules. Emily Browning is Lucy, whose new work requires total submission and a carefully controlled ritual built around sleep, sex, and silence. As she moves deeper into that hidden world, ordinary routines start to sit uneasily beside polished rooms, anonymous transactions, and the people who profit from them. Rachael Blake and Peter Carroll are among the figures around Lucy as the film turns a fairy-tale title into something colder, stranger, and more clinical.
