Thappad

Drama144 min

After her husband slaps her at an office party, a young woman begins to question not just the incident but the marriage built around it. Taapsee Pannu is at the center as a wife whose orderly domestic life splinters under a moment of public humiliation, while Pavail Gulati’s husband is left facing the damage of an act he expects others to excuse. What follows turns on arguments within the family, the pressure to move on, and a hard look at how everyday compromises can shape a relationship.
