Deep Rising

ActionAdventureHorrorSci-Fi106 min

A gang of armed hijackers boards a luxury ocean liner in the South Pacific expecting a rich haul, only to find the ship nearly deserted and something huge already feeding below deck. Treat Williams is the rough-edged captain hired to get the crew in and out, while Famke Janssen emerges from the liner’s surviving passengers as the situation turns from robbery to survival. Anthony Heald is part of the group caught in the middle once the attackers realize the missing guests haven’t simply disappeared. Stephen Sommers steers the setup toward slick shipboard action, creature horror, and a lot of narrow corridors between the living and whatever is hunting them.
