8 Women
ComedyCrimeDramaMusicalMysteryRomanceThriller111 min
Christmas at a snowbound country house in 1950s France turns into a locked-room murder when the family patriarch is found stabbed, leaving the women under his roof cut off and under suspicion. Catherine Deneuve is the wife at the center of the household, while Isabelle Huppert's sharp, unsettled sister helps turn old resentments into open accusations. As relatives and servants trade alibis, motives, and buried secrets, the film shifts between drawing-room mystery, family farce, and musical confession, with each of the eight women claiming innocence and giving the house another reason to erupt.
