In Tokyo’s Tomobiki Town, alien princess Lum becomes fixated on high school troublemaker Ataru Moroboshi, turning his nonstop pursuit of other girls into a running disaster of electric shocks, jealous standoffs, and interstellar chaos. Hiroshi Kamiya and Sumire Uesaka lead the voice cast as Ataru’s ordinary school life fills up with increasingly unruly company: his neighbor Shinobu, shrine maiden Sakura, Lum’s friends Oyuki, Benten, and Ran, the wealthy Shutaro Mendo, and a stream of eccentrics who make every misunderstanding bigger. What starts as a lopsided romance quickly spirals into crowded slapstick where nobody stays out of the mess for long.
