Wendy and Lucy

Drama80 min

Michelle Williams is Wendy, a near-penniless drifter driving to Alaska with her dog, Lucy, hoping to find work at a fish cannery. When her car breaks down in Oregon, the little money she has starts disappearing fast; after a desperate attempt to steal food for Lucy, she loses the dog and has to search for her on foot. What follows stays close to Wendy’s daily calculations — repair costs, food, a place to sleep — and the small encounters that shape life at the edge of town, from a store employee to a night security guard.
