The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Horror84 min
On a drive through rural Texas to check on a grandfather’s grave, five young friends stop near an isolated house and find a masked killer with a chainsaw waiting inside. Marilyn Burns is Sally, one of the travelers caught in the ordeal, and Gunnar Hansen wears the human-skin mask of Leatherface. Tobe Hooper builds the story out of empty roads, a roadside gas station, and a decaying homestead, where the group’s detour leads them into the path of a cannibalistic family.
