Charlize Theron is a grieving woman who heads into the Australian wilderness alone, pushing herself on a punishing climb after a loss. What begins as a solitary test of endurance turns into a hunt when she realizes a cunning killer has marked her as prey, forcing her to navigate brutal terrain and a deadly cat-and-mouse game at the same time. Taron Egerton and Eric Bana round out the story around her as the outback closes in, turning isolation, survival, and the struggle for control into the film’s central conflict.
