Matthew McConaughey is Tripp, whose fed-up mother and father decide it’s time to push him out of the house for good. Sarah Jessica Parker’s Paula is the specialist they secretly hire, a woman with a practiced approach to men who won’t leave home. As Paula gets closer to Tripp, what starts as a calculated intervention gets messier, with Zooey Deschanel and Justin Bartha circling the situation as friends who know him better than his parents think.
