After he is murdered, banker Sam Wheat finds himself trapped between life and death, watching helplessly as his girlfriend Molly remains in danger from the scheme that got him killed. Unable to touch the living or make Molly hear him, Sam scrambles to understand who arranged the attack and why it isn’t over. His only chance is Oda Mae Brown, a storefront psychic who is stunned to discover she can actually hear him. As Sam pushes Oda Mae to warn Molly, their strange partnership turns into a race to uncover the threat closing in around her. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore anchor the story’s romance as grief, suspense, and the supernatural collide.
