In 1970s and ’80s Calcutta, refugee boys Bikram and Bala grow into feared coal bandits whose partnership makes them two of the city’s most notorious gangsters. Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are the inseparable outlaws at the center, moving from gunrunning and train robberies into the criminal top tier. Their bond shifts when Nandita (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), a cabaret dancer, enters their world, and a determined police officer played by Irrfan Khan starts closing in. The story mixes underworld rivalry, friendship, romance, and large-scale action against a period backdrop of unrest and ambition.
