Hoping to leave modern society behind, a small group of disillusioned outsiders heads to Floreana Island in the Galápagos to build a new life before World War II. Ron Howard directs a survival story drawn from true events, with Jude Law and Ana de Armas among the settlers trying to carve out a utopia on remote, uninhabited land. As the colony settles in, the brutal climate and dangerous wildlife are only part of the problem; isolation, scarcity, and clashing ambitions turn the group against itself, and the promise of a fresh start gives way to suspicion and a fight for control.
