Megalopolis
DramaFantasySci-Fi138 min
In a futuristic New York called New Rome, visionary architect Cesar Catilina wants to rebuild the city as a utopian Megalopolis, putting him on a collision course with the mayor determined to keep power where it is. Adam Driver is Cesar, facing off with Giancarlo Esposito's Mayor Franklyn Cicero as money, influence, and public spectacle shape the fight over the city's future. Nathalie Emmanuel's Julia, Cicero's daughter, is caught between her father's authority and Cesar's sweeping vision. Written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, the story casts its political struggle through the lens of an alternate city with clear echoes of ancient Rome.
