Youth in Revolt
ComedyDramaRomance90 min
Bookish teenager Nick Twisp is stranded in a trailer park with his mother and her boyfriend when he meets Sheeni Saunders, a neighbor whose taste for French records leaves him instantly besotted. Michael Cera is Nick, a self-styled intellectual whose awkward pursuit of Sheeni pushes him toward François, a cigarette-waving alter ego built for rebellion. Portia Doubleday's Sheeni is already entangled elsewhere, and Nick's effort to reach her pulls in feuding adults, jealous rivals, and the chaos of his own making.
