Legends

CrimeDrama58 min per episode

In early-1990s Britain, with illegal drugs pouring through the country’s borders, a small team of Customs and Excise employees is sent undercover to break the gangs behind the trade. These aren’t seasoned operatives but ordinary civil servants given basic training, fresh identities, and a dangerous assignment inside the criminal underworld. Their fabricated personas are known as Legends, and the job demands that they disappear into lives built for smugglers and traffickers. Tom Burke and Steve Coogan head the ensemble, alongside Charlotte Ritchie and Hayley Squires, in a story rooted in covert policing, false names, and the strain of asking untested people to live as criminals.
