Arthur Christmas

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyDramaFamilyFantasy97 min

When Santa’s vast, high-tech Christmas operation misses one child, Arthur Claus refuses to treat it as an acceptable error. James McAvoy is Arthur, the earnest youngest son in a family business already looking past him, while Hugh Laurie’s Steve is the polished heir built for command. As the North Pole’s sleek system moves on, Arthur launches an unauthorized mission with retired Grandsanta (Bill Nighy), an old sleigh, and a set of unreliable reindeer to get the last present delivered before dawn. The film turns Santa’s workshop into a full-scale operation, then narrows the stakes to one forgotten gift.
