Over one night in New York, Joanna (Keira Knightley) and her husband Michael (Sam Worthington) find their marriage tested from opposite sides. As they move through separate evenings of flirtation, doubt, and unfinished feeling, the story stays close to the small choices that can unsettle a relationship, with hotel rooms, bars, and city streets framing two different kinds of temptation.
