The Black Cauldron

ActionAdventureAnimationFamilyFantasy80 min

Grant Bardsley is Taran, an assistant pigkeeper whose daydreams of becoming a warrior turn urgent when Hen Wen, the prophetic pig in his care, is kidnapped. The trail leads to the Horned King (John Hurt), a skeletal ruler searching for the Black Cauldron, an ancient object with the power to raise an unstoppable army. As Taran leaves his quiet post behind, the story moves through castles, witches, and strange creatures, with a young hero pulled into a darker strain of animated fantasy than his own ambitions ever prepared him for.
