Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn
ActionAdventureComedyCrime109 min
Harley Quinn is on her own in Gotham when a young pickpocket steals a rare diamond and lands in the sights of crime boss Roman Sionis. Margot Robbie is Harley, narrating the chaos in her own scattered, fourth-wall-breaking style as she ricochets through run-ins with singer Dinah Lance, the crossbow-wielding Huntress, and detective Renee Montoya. Ewan McGregor’s Sionis turns the hunt into a citywide manhunt, with Harley caught between the girl everyone wants and the women who have their own reasons to fight back. The story moves through nightclub back rooms, police stations, and bruising street fights with Harley’s messy version of events leading the way.
