A Close Shave
AnimationComedyCrimeFamilyMystery30 min
Wallace’s sudden romance with wool-shop owner Wendolene tangles him and Gromit in a sheep-rustling plot, and before long Gromit is the one taking the blame. Peter Sallis voices Wallace, the absent-minded inventor now running a window-cleaning business with his long-suffering dog, while Anne Reid’s Wendolene brings a polite, slightly uneasy note to the chaos around her. Directed by Nick Park, the story mixes prison escapes, a woolly trail of clues, and the meticulously handmade stop-motion world that defines Wallace & Gromit.
