The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyDramaFamilyMusicalRomance81 min

Simba is now king of Pride Rock, but fatherhood proves tougher than the throne when his adventurous daughter Kiara slips beyond his watch and meets Kovu, a young lion tied to Zira’s pride. Matthew Broderick is an older, more guarded Simba, with Moira Kelly back as Nala as they try to protect Kiara without smothering her. Their daughter’s curiosity pulls her toward a rivalry the adults haven’t forgotten, while Timon and Pumbaa remain close at hand, as meddlesome and loyal as ever. The story shifts the focus to the next generation, with songs, romance, and family conflict shaping life in the Pride Lands.
