The Haunted Mansion

ComedyFamilyFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller99 min

Workaholic realtor Jim Evers heads to a remote mansion with his wife and children after a late-night call from owner Edward Gracey about a possible sale. Eddie Murphy is Jim, whose business detour turns into a trap when a sudden storm cuts the family off inside Gracey Manor with its brooding master, a severe butler, and a house full of ghosts. Nathaniel Parker's Gracey looms over the mystery at the center of the estate, while Jennifer Tilly appears as the floating psychic Madame Leota. The story threads family comedy through secret passages, séance-room weirdness, and a grand house crowded with unseen residents.
