Kick-Ass 2

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller103 min

After his first run as a costumed vigilante sparks a wave of copycat heroes, Dave Lizewski heads back out as Kick-Ass and joins Justice Forever, a neighborhood patrol led by Colonel Stars and Stripes. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Dave, still chasing the idea of being a hero, while Chloë Grace Moretz's Mindy Macready is trying to put Hit-Girl behind her and survive ordinary teenage life. That plan collapses when Red Mist reinvents himself as The Mother Fucker and starts hunting masked crusaders, pushing the film toward bigger team-ups, nastier revenge, and the same comic-book violence and foul-mouthed humor as the first movie.
