Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
ActionAdventureDramaFamilyMusicalRomance174 min
Four days before his coronation, a stern prince survives an assassination attempt and is secretly replaced by a romantic lookalike. Salman Khan is both the guarded heir and Prem, a cheerful Ramleela performer from Ayodhya whose warmth lands him inside a palace ruled by protocol, suspicion, and family tensions. Sonam Kapoor’s Princess Maithili, whom Prem has admired from afar, becomes part of the confusion as the impersonation pulls him deeper into royal life. Sooraj R. Barjatya frames the mix of mistaken identity, romance, and palace intrigue with elaborate musical set pieces and a strong emphasis on family bonds.
