The Guilty
CrimeDramaThriller86 min
Demoted police officer Asger Holm is working an emergency-dispatch desk when a terrified woman calls to say she’s been kidnapped. Jakob Cedergren is Asger, confined to the station and trying to reconstruct a crime through fragments of conversation, background sounds, and the officers he can send in his place. Jessica Dinnage is heard as the panicked caller on the other end of the line, giving the case an intimate, uneasy immediacy. With the phone as his only tool, Asger pushes against time, procedure, and the limits of what he can know from a chair behind a console.
