To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar

ComedyDrama109 min

After winning spots in a national drag competition, Patrick Swayze’s Vida Boheme and Wesley Snipes’s Noxeema Jackson head from New York to Los Angeles with Chi-Chi Rodriguez (John Leguizamo), an eager novice they’ve agreed to mentor. Carrying an autographed photo of Julie Newmar and racing to make the pageant on time, the three set off on a cross-country trip that takes a sharp detour when their car breaks down in a small Midwestern town. What starts as a road trip turns into an extended stop among residents whose marriages, routines, and assumptions get tangled up with Vida, Noxeema, and Chi-Chi.
