Bo Burnham: Inside
ComedyDocumentaryDrama87 min
Alone in COVID-19 lockdown, comedian and musician Bo Burnham writes, shoots, edits, and performs a one-man special from a single room in his home. Songs, sketches, and monologues build around day-to-day indoor life: FaceTiming his mother, posting on Instagram, sexting, gaming livestreams, and the strange bond between performer, audience, and the internet. As the months stretch on, Burnham keeps reworking the space with lighting rigs, projected screens, and increasingly elaborate setups, turning isolation into both subject and stage.
