State of Grace

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaRomanceThriller135 min

After ten years away, Terry Noonan returns to Hell’s Kitchen and finds himself back inside the Irish mob world he grew up around. Sean Penn is Terry, home again under cover as he reconnects with his childhood friend Jackie and rekindles a romance with Jackie's sister Kathleen. Gary Oldman’s Jackie meets Terry’s return with swagger, suspicion, and old loyalty, while the neighborhood’s family ties and criminal alliances keep closing in. What starts as a homecoming becomes a tense collision of friendship, police business, and the pull of the life Terry thought he’d left behind.
