Queen of the Damned

DramaFantasyHorrorRomance101 min

Vampire Lestat wakes from centuries of slumber and finds a place for himself in the modern spotlight: as a rock star whose music broadcasts the existence of the undead. Stuart Townsend is Lestat, leaning into the character’s vanity and hunger as sold-out shows turn him into a public spectacle. But the songs reach farther than his human audience, stirring Akasha, an ancient vampire queen with plans of her own. With Aaliyah and Marguerite Moreau in the mix, the film folds leather-and-stage-lights glamor into Anne Rice-style supernatural intrigue, where celebrity, seduction, and vampire politics collide.
