Bridget Jones's Diary

ComedyDramaRomance97 min

At the start of a new year, Bridget Jones decides to take control of her life by keeping a diary that records the truth about her habits, her family pressures, and her love life. Renée Zellweger is Bridget, a 32-year-old single woman in England trying to sort herself out while fending off advice from every direction. Hugh Grant is the charming boss who takes an interest in her, and Colin Firth is the stiff, irritating acquaintance she keeps crossing paths with. From office embarrassment to family holidays, Bridget’s private tally of cigarettes, calories, and romantic misfires becomes the running record of a very public year.
