My Policeman

DramaRomance113 min

When Patrick, now frail and in need of care, moves into the home of his former friends Marion and Tom in the late 1990s, old tensions push the story back to 1950s Britain. Harry Styles is Tom, a young policeman whose marriage to Marion (Emma Corrin) is complicated by a forbidden connection at a time when homosexuality was illegal. As the film moves between the couple’s early life and their older selves, with Gina McKee, Linus Roache, and Rupert Everett taking over the later years, the past keeps resurfacing inside a marriage built around silence, desire, and compromise.
