Bruce Lee arrives in the United States from Hong Kong determined to build a life through martial arts, but talent alone does not clear his path. As he begins teaching and pushing his ideas about fighting beyond closed traditions, he runs into resistance from rivals, gatekeepers, and the racism that follows him off the mat and into his career. His relationship with Linda becomes part of the story too, as marriage, ambition, and sudden opportunities reshape their lives together. With Jason Scott Lee and Lauren Holly, the film follows Bruce from teacher to television and movie performer, tracing the fights around him as his name starts to travel far beyond the dojo.
