Friday the 13th: A New Beginning
HorrorMysteryThriller92 min
Still scarred by what happened at Crystal Lake, teenage Tommy Jarvis is sent to a secluded halfway house for troubled teens in the New Jersey woods. John Shepherd is Tommy, trying to hold himself together as a string of grisly murders around the property raises the possibility that Jason Voorhees — or someone in his hockey mask — has returned. The setup folds slasher carnage into a whodunit, with the isolated house, uneasy residents and staff, and Tommy’s own memories all feeding the paranoia. Corey Feldman turns up in a brief cameo tied to Tommy’s past.
