Stage Fright

MysteryThriller111 min

In London’s theater world, an aspiring actress is drawn into a murder cover-up when a friend arrives in panic and asks for help. Convinced he is innocent, she hides him and starts poking around on her own, following clues that lead back to a famous stage star with a carefully managed public face. As her amateur investigation gets bolder, she moves between backstage corridors, drawing rooms, and police scrutiny, telling lies to stay close to the people who may know the truth. Jane Wyman anchors the young woman at the center, while Marlene Dietrich is the performer whose glamour and secrets keep the case dangerously unresolved.
