The Guilty

CrimeDramaThriller91 min

Jake Gyllenhaal is a demoted police officer working an emergency dispatch desk when a woman on the line says she’s been kidnapped. From a single control room, he tries to piece together what’s happening through dropped calls, police radio chatter, and scattered details, pushing farther into the case than his job allows. Riley Keough is the voice at the center of the emergency, while the film keeps its focus on the officer’s mounting panic, split-second decisions, and the limits of what he can actually know from the other end of a phone.
