Wish Upon

DramaFamilyFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller91 min

High schooler Clare Shannon thinks an old music box could be her way out of humiliation and social exile when she discovers it grants wishes. Joey King is Clare, a teenager whose sudden run of luck — money, popularity, the attention she wants — starts to look different once the box’s gifts carry a deadly cost. Ryan Phillippe is her father, the one who brings the antique into her life in the first place. Built around wish fulfillment with a supernatural catch, the story keeps its focus on Clare’s circle of friends, her shifting place at school, and the growing danger attached to every new wish.
