Creature from the Black Lagoon
ActionAdventureHorrorSci-Fi79 min
Deep in the Amazon, a team of scientists discovers traces of an amphibious “missing link” and enters the Black Lagoon hoping to capture it for study. Richard Carlson and Julie Adams are among the expedition members caught between scientific ambition and a creature that knows the waterways far better than they do. The film moves from fossil evidence and cramped riverboat debate to tense underwater encounters, treating the Gill-man as both a movie monster and an object of obsession for the people chasing him.
