When supermarket clerk Ronna needs fast cash, she steps in for an absent drug dealer and turns one Christmas Eve into a chain reaction of bad deals, crossed wires, and late-night panic. Sarah Polley’s Ronna is at the center of an intertwined story that also follows Simon trying to get to Vegas and Adam and Zack doing their best to avoid trouble while the same night keeps pulling everyone together. Katie Holmes is part of the young ensemble as the film jumps between perspectives, moving from convenience-store back rooms to crowded raves, suburban houses, and tense encounters with dealers and cops before sunrise.
