A Tale of Legendary Libido
ComedyDramaFantasy120 min
In a rural Korean village, Byun has become the man everyone laughs at, singled out for humiliation and mocked by the women around him. When a wandering monk takes pity on him, he passes along a secret that gives Byun the sexual power he’s long lacked, abruptly changing his place in the village. Bong Tae-gyu is the put-upon Byun, while Kim Jin-ah and Youn Yuh-jung are among the women caught up in the shift. The film folds broad sex comedy into a folkloric period backdrop, with fantasy elements driving the premise.
